Responsibilities
- Drive shift-left quality strategy using the V-Model to map acceptance criteria to unit, integration, and regression testing levels.
- Build and own test infrastructure and automate acceptance suites within CI/CD pipelines.
- Implement AI-driven testing tools for test-case generation and visual regression checks.
- Coach engineers on TDD and BDD practices and promote quality ownership across the team.
- Review requirements early to ensure they are complete, unambiguous, and testable.
- Partner with Product and Engineering to identify and resolve quality impediments.
Requirements
- Senior-level proficiency in Java and proficiency in at least one additional language: Python or JavaScript.
- Ability to code complex test automation.
- Hands-on mastery of Selenium, Playwright, and Cypress.
- Experience configuring Jenkins and GitHub Actions CI/CD pipelines.
- Deep understanding of the SDLC, the V-Model, and provable acceptance criteria.
- Experience with or strong interest in applying AI testing techniques.
- Proactive collaboration, independent problem-solving, and full ownership of domain quality.
