Responsibilities

  • Analyze requirements, designs, user stories, and acceptance criteria to identify risks, ambiguities, dependencies, edge cases, and negative scenarios.
  • Design, review, and maintain scalable test scenarios, test cases, automation scripts, reusable components, and test-data solutions.
  • Automate web applications, APIs, integrations, workflows, permissions, and approvals using Playwright and Python.
  • Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines and improve test stability, maintainability, reporting, and execution speed.
  • Perform functional, regression, exploratory, manual, API, integration, end-to-end, performance, load, scalability, and resilience testing.
  • Apply AI to requirements analysis, test generation, test data, automation, defect analysis, regression optimization, and intelligent test execution.
  • Monitor test execution, defects, automation health, release risks, and quality metrics while producing dashboards and evidence-based reports.
  • Collaborate with Product, Engineering, Architecture, DevOps, Security, and Operations teams on quality and non-functional requirements.
  • Support root-cause analysis, preventive actions, best-practice sharing, and mentoring of other QA engineers.

Requirements

  • At least 7 years of experience in software testing or Quality Engineering focused on automation.
  • Strong hands-on expertise with Playwright and Python, including scalable automation framework design and maintenance.
  • Experience testing enterprise web applications, APIs, integrations, workflows, and business processes.
  • Experience integrating automated tests into CI/CD pipelines.
  • Strong knowledge of test design, risk-based testing, test data, defect management, functional testing, regression testing, integration testing, and end-to-end testing.
  • Strong analytical, structured problem-solving, communication, and documentation skills in English.
  • Experience working in Agile, cross-functional product teams with strong ownership and product-oriented thinking.
  • Preferred experience with Playwright and TypeScript, OutSystems or other low-code/no-code platforms, GenAI or Agentic AI in testing, API automation, and performance testing.
  • Additional preferred knowledge includes security, accessibility, resilience, production validation, workflow or process-automation platforms, cloud, observability, production monitoring, and ISTQB or equivalent testing certification.
