Responsibilities
- Execute manual and automated testing activities to improve product quality.
- Automate functional, regression, performance, and acceptance tests.
- Own and enhance end-to-end automated test coverage.
- Test web user interfaces and APIs using tools such as Postman or similar platforms.
- Perform requirements analysis, test strategy and planning, test design, feature testing, smoke testing, regression testing, exploratory testing, black-box testing, risk-based testing, and non-UI testing.
- Participate in sprint planning and collaborate with Scrum team members to provide test recommendations.
- Lead test teams and manage sprint-based manual and automation testing tasks.
- Collaborate with developers, business analysts, customer service, operations, and clients.
- Use AI coding tools and evaluate AI-driven development capabilities across the software development lifecycle.
- Integrate AI tools with other systems through MCP or equivalent protocols.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science, or a related field.
- Likely 5+ years of software testing experience, depending on learning speed and technical development.
- Strong experience in manual testing and software testing processes.
- Hands-on experience testing web UI and APIs, including Postman or similar tools.
- Working knowledge of test automation with Selenium, Playwright, or Katalon.
- Basic coding ability in Java, C#, JavaScript, or a similar language.
- Experience leading test teams and managing sprint-based manual and automation testing.
- Experience with tools such as Git and IntelliJ IDEA.
- Upper-Intermediate English communication skills and the ability to work directly with clients.
- Ability to self-learn, adapt to new technologies, decompose complex tasks, and work under pressure.
- Preferred experience with Cucumber, SpecFlow, Jenkins, GitLab, GitHub Actions, performance testing, and design patterns.
- Proficient daily use of AI coding tools such as Copilot, Cursor, and Claude Code.
- Experience with agentic workflows, AI-driven development frameworks, and integrating AI tools through MCP or equivalent.
- Awareness of emerging AI tools and willingness to evaluate and adopt new capabilities.
