Base Salary

$174k - $252k/yr

Responsibilities

  • Write and test product or system development code.
  • Participate in or lead design reviews and select among available technologies with peers and stakeholders.
  • Review other developers’ code for style, correctness, testability, efficiency, and best practices.
  • Contribute to and update technical documentation or educational content.
  • Build context infrastructure, automated pipelines, evaluation harnesses, and knowledge graphs for AI agents and Fuchsia developers.
  • Develop systems for documentation drift detection, agent-driven documentation remediation, and code-to-documentation knowledge mapping.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • At least 5 years of software development experience using Python or Go.
  • At least 3 years of experience testing, maintaining, or launching software products and 1 year of software design and architecture experience.
  • At least 3 years of experience developing large-scale infrastructure, distributed systems or networks, or working with compute technologies, storage, or hardware architecture.
  • Preferred: master’s degree or PhD in Computer Science or a related technical field.
  • Preferred: 5 years of experience with data structures and algorithms.
  • Preferred: experience developing, deploying, or fine-tuning agentic loops such as tool-calling, multi-step planning, automated self-correction, or IDE coding assistants.
  • Preferred: experience integrating automated bots, sidecars, or presubmit checks into developer workflows using review platforms such as Gerrit or Critique.
  • Preferred: experience building quantitative evaluation harnesses for agent task success, turn efficiency, token economics, or semantic drift.
  • Preferred: familiarity with Abstract Syntax Trees, static analysis, symbol indexing, or code-to-documentation knowledge graphs involving FIDL, APIs, and manifests.
