Base Salary
$160k - $185k/yr
Responsibilities
- Lead code and design reviews and establish development standards.
- Design, build, debug, test, deploy, and maintain scalable full-stack web applications with an approximately 60% backend and 40% frontend focus.
- Manage report execution, viewing, exports, and data synchronization across online banking data and ERP systems.
- Optimize application and database performance, troubleshoot bottlenecks, and improve system responsiveness.
- Develop reusable code, libraries, development tools, test coverage, and code structure.
- Configure environments, monitor system health, and respond to on-call incidents and production disruptions.
- Provide technical oversight, mentoring, training, and support to a team of six engineers.
- Coordinate with developers, designers, system administrators, product teams, customers, vendors, and cross-functional partners.
- Champion API-first software development and seamless integration, scalability, and extensibility.
- Lead adoption of AI-driven engineering practices for code modernization, specification-driven development, and agentic workflows.
Requirements
- At least 9 years of related software development experience, or 7 years with an advanced degree.
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering or a related field, or equivalent work experience.
- Strong .NET/C# programming skills; Java experience is also acceptable.
- Proven full-stack development experience with JavaScript, Vue.js or Angular, React, HTML, and CSS.
- Strong SQL and PostgreSQL experience, including reporting, database services, and ETL responsibilities.
- Experience developing and deploying applications on cloud-native infrastructure and Kubernetes.
- Experience with SQL and NoSQL databases, data structures, caching mechanisms, and performance optimization.
- Deep understanding of REST API best practices, including security, scalability, and performance.
- Experience with unit testing, UI automation testing, and integration testing.
- Experience monitoring and supporting production systems and resolving operational issues.
- Experience with OpenTelemetry and participation in an on-call rotation.
- Strong analytical, time-management, communication, cross-functional collaboration, and independent problem-solving skills.
- Preferred qualifications include a master’s degree, SaaS experience in technology or financial industries, AWS and Kubernetes experience, and Flutter experience.
