Responsibilities
- Research, develop, and deliver computer vision and machine learning technologies for augmented and mixed reality platforms.
- Take computer vision and machine learning models from research prototypes to production, including mobile framework integration, edge optimization, and runtime robustness.
- Serve as technical lead across critical XR feature tracks and guide multidisciplinary software engineering and research teams from scoping through release.
- Partner with product, UX, program management, executive leadership, and engineering stakeholders.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience.
- 8 years of experience in software development.
- 5 years of experience testing and launching software products.
- 3 years of experience with software design and architecture.
- 5 years of experience in computer vision and machine learning, with specialized focus in 3D computer vision, multimodal learning, and/or scene and object understanding.
- Experience acting as a technical lead or equivalent in an industry or advanced research setting and driving the complete research-to-product pipeline.
- Preferred: master’s degree or PhD in Computer Science, Robotics, Electrical Engineering, or a related technical discipline.
- Preferred: experience designing and prototyping augmented or virtual reality products.
