Responsibilities
- Design, build, and maintain high-performance, low-latency platform services in C++ and Java.
- Develop distributed microservices and RPC-based architectures for real-time voice/audio processing and streaming protocols.
- Create and optimize ML pipelines covering dataset management, data processing, model training, evaluation, and deployment.
- Root-cause complex failures across multi-service environments and establish architectural guardrails.
- Lead data-driven change management using A/B testing, log analysis, and metrics.
- Collaborate with internal developers and end users, identify friction points, write technical design documents, and facilitate engineering discussions.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience.
- 8 years of software development experience in C++.
- 5 years of experience designing, building, and operating large-scale ML infrastructure and distributed systems.
- 3 years of experience with software design, architecture, and technical leadership.
- Preferred: Master’s degree or PhD in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related technical field.
- Preferred: 8 years of experience with data structures and algorithms.
- Experience with one or more of Java, Go, Python, or Kotlin.
- Experience performing in-depth forensics on distributed systems to root-cause complex failures across multiple languages and frameworks.
- Ability to drive product evolution through A/B testing and metric analysis.
