Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and deliver production-grade software that meets technical requirements and healthcare compliance standards.
- Build and maintain user interfaces, databases, APIs, and client-facing displays across the healthcare platform.
- Architect complex application features, evaluate trade-offs, and make maintainable technical design decisions.
- Write optimized, documented code and contribute to architecture decision records, design specifications, and runbooks.
- Debug existing code and improve system performance, reliability, and feature quality.
- Create and execute unit and integration tests, perform staging validation, coordinate UAT, and monitor production rollouts.
- Develop solutions that streamline clinical workflows and reduce manual effort for healthcare providers and patients.
- Collaborate with engineering, product, clinical, QA, DevOps, data science, and compliance teams.
- Independently own ambiguous technical problems and communicate progress to stakeholders.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- At least 5 years of total software development experience.
- Proven experience delivering complex, scalable software systems, preferably in healthcare.
- Strong programming expertise in C# and the .NET framework.
- Required experience with MVC architecture, design patterns, and Entity Framework.
- Strong experience with relational databases such as SQL Server, PostgreSQL, or MySQL, including advanced SQL queries, stored procedures, functions, and views.
- Experience with Angular or React is an advantage; JavaScript and jQuery experience is required.
- Proficiency in automation testing and Test-Driven Development principles.
- Experience designing and implementing CI/CD pipelines using tools such as Jenkins, Azure DevOps, or GitHub Actions.
- Preferred familiarity with Azure or AWS cloud environments and Docker or Kubernetes containerization.
- Ability to work independently and in small teams in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong communication, analytical, and stakeholder management skills.
