Base Salary

$100k - $130k/yr

Responsibilities

  • Analyze software requirements and determine design feasibility within time and cost constraints.
  • Research, design, develop, integrate, test, and document Unity game software and platforms.
  • Collaborate with engineers, designers, artists, hardware engineers, and distributed teams to deliver game products.
  • Establish technical direction, objectives, timelines, game designs, and product release schedules.
  • Develop and direct software testing procedures, programming, documentation, and release support.
  • Investigate field-reported issues and report discrepancies or problems requiring resolution.
  • Mentor new and lower-level software engineers and build team consensus around process and product improvements.
  • Use AI coding tools productively while validating recommendations and retaining ownership of final solutions.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, electrical engineering, computer engineering, or a higher degree.
  • Minimum eight years of related Unity experience, including scripting, textures, animation, and/or training or supervising technical groups; six years is accepted with a master's degree.
  • Gaming industry experience and proficiency in C#.
  • Experience working with geographically distributed software teams.
  • Ability to obtain and maintain required gaming licenses.
  • Expert knowledge of software engineering, Excel, MS Project, and MS Office.
  • Ability to communicate effectively, interpret technical and business materials, and work autonomously in a high-pressure environment.
  • A master's degree in a related field and experience with SAS or SDS are preferred.
  • Valid driver's license required.
