Base Salary
$96k - $130k/yr
Responsibilities
- Architect, develop, and maintain Java-based backend services and server-side logic for Caesars iGaming clients.
- Implement secure transactional flows for wagering, outcomes, wallet interactions, promotions, jackpots, bonusing, and tournaments.
- Integrate game services with the Caesars RGS and platform systems, including wallet, PAM, and promotional services.
- Support game launch readiness, environment configuration, certification, production monitoring, and integration troubleshooting.
- Design extensible backend architecture and maintain high availability, scalability, reliability, security, and performance.
- Conduct code reviews, uphold engineering standards, and implement logging, monitoring, and alerting.
- Support CI/CD pipelines, deployments, release planning, technical design reviews, and roadmap feasibility assessments.
- Collaborate with client engineering, product, math, design, QA, compliance, and platform teams.
Requirements
- Strong proficiency in Java backend development; Spring Boot or similar frameworks are preferred.
- At least 5 years of backend or server engineering experience.
- Experience building distributed, transactional systems, RESTful APIs, and real-time service integrations.
- Experience integrating with external platforms and transactional systems.
- Familiarity with AWS or other cloud environments, SQL/NoSQL databases, caching solutions, authentication protocols, and secure transactional systems.
- Experience with Git and modern development workflows; Docker and Kubernetes experience is preferred.
- Familiarity with microservices architecture and CI/CD pipelines.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field, or equivalent experience.
- Experience with real-time transactional or gaming systems is strongly preferred; iGaming or RGS experience is highly preferred.
- Strong debugging, problem-solving, communication, organization, and cross-functional collaboration skills.
