Responsibilities
- Design and implement complex features across the web-shop.
- Extend and build backend services with clean interfaces and well-defined API contracts.
- Develop performant and maintainable frontend functionality using ReactJS.
- Create and consume backward-compatible APIs using contract-first principles.
- Implement scalable asynchronous communication patterns with RabbitMQ.
- Identify and address performance bottlenecks, reliability gaps, and technical debt.
- Own features end to end, including design, implementation, testing, deployment, and post-release monitoring.
- Participate in code reviews and architectural discussions.
- Support and mentor less experienced engineers.
- Collaborate with product, design, and engineering teams to improve development processes and standards.
Requirements
- Strong experience building and operating scalable services with Node.js and TypeScript.
- Solid expertise in RESTful API design, HTTP semantics, and distributed-system fundamentals.
- Understanding of asynchronous communication patterns and event-driven architecture.
- Comfort with Docker, Kubernetes, CI/CD pipelines, and production monitoring.
- Ability to work independently on complex tasks while aligning with broader architecture.
- Strong technical judgment, ownership, communication, and collaboration skills.
