Responsibilities

Design and optimize batch and real-time data engineering systems for large-scale data processing.
Build and optimize retrieval-augmented generation systems using LLM technologies.
Develop embedding models, vector databases, and retrieval mechanisms to improve relevance, latency, and operating costs.
Create evaluation frameworks and use feedback and performance metrics to improve LLM-based solutions.
Build production-ready machine learning, verifiable ML, and agentic systems for medical and insurance data.
Develop healthcare and insurance machine learning models with high standards for safety and quality.
Monitor AI and ML security and governance requirements.

Bachelor’s degree in computer science with a machine learning or AI concentration, engineering, statistics, or a related field.
At least three years of industry experience, including experience with recent generative AI technologies.
Experience with containerization, Kubernetes, and cloud-native machine learning technologies such as Kubeflow.
Experience with CI/CD pipelines and automated testing.
High proficiency in Python and several machine learning frameworks.
Preferred experience with medical coding, clinical policy analysis, or United States healthcare insurance.
Preferred understanding of clinical coding standards including ICD-10, CPT, and HCPCS.
