Responsibilities
- Collaborate with stakeholders to determine user requirements for product scenarios.
- Create, implement, optimize, debug, refactor, and reuse code to improve performance, maintainability, and effectiveness.
- Improve product availability, reliability, efficiency, observability, and performance while driving consistent monitoring and operations at scale.
- Build cloud services and interfaces for mobile, Windows PC, Xbox, and other devices.
- Collaborate closely with product and design teams.
- Apply quality-focused and test-driven development practices.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science or a related technical field and 4+ years of technical engineering experience with coding, or equivalent experience.
- Experience building cloud-native, distributed, highly scalable microservices, API management, and database development.
- Proficiency in C# or Java.
- Preferred proficiency with ASP.NET Web API and Microsoft Azure cloud technologies.
- Knowledge of object-oriented software development, algorithms, and data structures.
- Experience building web UIs using HTML5, CSS, JavaScript, Webpack, React, Redux, Angular, and TypeScript is preferred.
- Familiarity with mobile app development using iOS with Swift or Objective-C, or Android with Java or Kotlin, is a bonus.
- Demonstrated customer empathy, focus on high-quality customer experiences, self-motivation, and willingness to address challenging technical issues.
