Responsibilities
- Architect and ship scalable brokerage and platform services using gRPC microservices, REST/gRPC APIs, and vendor integrations.
- Advance multi-region, multi-currency, and globally compliant platform capabilities.
- Own API quality, performance, monitoring, alerting, and operational readiness for regional workloads.
- Mentor engineers through design reviews, pairing, knowledge sharing, and engineering standards.
- Provide technical leadership across Singapore and regional engineering teams and partner on hiring and interviews.
- Serve as a senior incident escalation point and participate in on-call coverage.
- Collaborate with Product, Compliance, local stakeholders, and global teams on Singapore and regional requirements.
Requirements
- Strong backend engineering experience with Go or an equivalent technology and distributed systems at scale.
- Staff-level impact demonstrated through architecture ownership, cross-team technical leadership, and mentoring.
- Experience with financial services, fintech, or brokerage systems, including trading lifecycle, settlements, and regulatory awareness.
- Excellent English communication skills and comfort working with regional and global stakeholders.
