Responsibilities
- Identify requirements, scope solutions, estimate work, and schedule deliverables.
- Define robust and maintainable software architectures and designs using strong engineering principles.
- Collaborate with hardware designers, system engineers, tool developers, performance analysts, ML application developers, researchers, and other teams.
- Develop software in C/C++, C#, Python, and other languages as needed.
- Build system software, developer tools, and software experiences for large-scale AI model training and inference on novel AI hardware.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s or advanced degree in computer engineering, computer science, or a related field.
- At least 8 years of software development experience.
- Experience leading at least two commercialized features from requirements through deployment.
- At least 5 years of experience with C/C++ and low-level Python development.
- Exposure to NVIDIA or AMD development environments, including CUDA or ROCm, for deep neural network training and inference.
- Strong software engineering and architecture design foundations.
- Experience developing software, firmware, and system software for multicore chips.
- Strong collaboration, communication, intellectual curiosity, and willingness to learn new technologies.
