Responsibilities
- Design and implement end-to-end wireless features across access point, controller, and management layers.
- Own feature validation through test plans, test automation, and system testing.
- Debug complex issues spanning firmware, networking, and system layers.
- Optimize feature performance, scalability, and reliability.
- Improve test coverage, automation, and quality practices.
- Collaborate across multiple engineering teams.
- Promote AI-assisted development and test automation practices.
Requirements
- 7+ years of experience in wireless or networking software.
- Strong coding skills in C/C++ and Python.
- Solid understanding of 802.11 protocols and system behavior.
- Experience with wireless security, including WPA2/WPA3 and 802.1X.
- Experience with wireless access point drivers and firmware.
- Experience with test automation and system validation.
- Ability to own features end-to-end across development and testing.
- Preferred: experience with 802.11k/v/r roaming, mesh networking, load balancing, client steering, QoS, and traffic management.
- Preferred: familiarity with lab setup and test infrastructure.
