Responsibilities
- Own and deliver end-to-end software for a component or set of components.
- Develop C++ software for logging and storing performance, usage, and error data.
- Integrate software components and third-party libraries into existing systems.
- Analyze and optimize application performance and resolve bottlenecks.
- Coordinate with the DevOps team on CI/CD changes, improvements, and troubleshooting.
- Conduct and participate in code reviews and uphold coding standards.
- Collaborate with product managers, designers, and QA engineers to define, design, and ship features.
- Establish software quality goals and development practices, suggest workflow improvements, and mentor team members.
Requirements
- Advanced C++ programming knowledge and experience with real-time operating systems.
- Proficiency with Linux and scripting languages such as Python or Ruby.
- Expertise with CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins or GitLab CI.
- Familiarity with AWS and Azure cloud platforms.
- Knowledge of software design, debugging, API design and integration, code reviews, TDD, SDLC, and version control systems.
- Bachelor's or master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or equivalent.
- 8–13 years of experience in software development, software design and architecture, testing, and quality assurance.
