Responsibilities

Develop and verify image-processing algorithms for compression, segmentation, contour detection, feature extraction, classification, target detection, tracking, and 3D imaging.
Implement scalable image-processing solutions for healthcare using the DICOM standard.
Configure and support DICOM services including Store, Storage Commitment, Query/Retrieve, and Modality Worklist.
Migrate DICOM data and build DICOM-based integrations using IHE XDS standards.
Design distributed systems, DNS cache, data pipelines, and platform APIs.
Develop software for imaging systems, medical image diagnosis, wireless tracking, and immersive augmented and virtual reality experiences.
Maintain reliable, secure, and scalable cloud-based software solutions while protecting patient data.
Drive features through the full development lifecycle, mentor junior developers, and collaborate in a DevOps model.

At least 5 years of experience developing and integrating complex imaging systems and/or medical image diagnosis software.
At least 3 years of DICOM development and troubleshooting experience.
At least 3 years of strong knowledge of DICOM standards, including developing or extending servers such as dcm4che or Orthanc.
Experience developing with C# and/or C++.
Prior experience with healthcare components and workflows such as PACS, VNA, and RIS.
Experience building DICOM-based integrations using IHE XDS standards for healthcare interoperability.
Experience with DICOM tools such as DCMTK, JDICOM, or OpenDICOM.
A bachelor's degree in computer science or a related field is required; a master's degree or Ph.D. is a plus.
Experience with HL7, debugging native DLLs and binary formats, containers, or Kubernetes is a plus.
