Base Salary
$147k - $210k/yr
Responsibilities
- Build an automated runtime analysis platform at Google scale using cloud virtualization infrastructure.
- Develop full-stack solutions involving app instrumentation, networking, app crawling, anti-cloaking, and applicable AI techniques.
- Build dynamic analysis-based detection and reverse-engineering solutions for Android applications.
- Design and build large-scale automations to scan Android apps for malware and other mobile threats.
- Collaborate with security, privacy, abuse engineering, and product teams to protect Android and Google Play users.
- Work with partner teams across Google to deliver security and privacy impact.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience.
- At least 2 years of software development experience in C++ or Python.
- Experience with program analysis.
- Preferred: master’s degree or PhD in Computer Science or a related technical field.
- Preferred: at least 2 years of experience with performance, large-scale systems data analysis, visualization tools, or debugging.
- Preferred: at least 2 years of experience with data structures and algorithms in an academic or industry setting.
- Preferred: experience with security or privacy, static or dynamic analysis, or Android security or privacy.
