Responsibilities
- Define and evolve architecture across multiple Mobility services and resolve cross-team bottlenecks.
- Lead architecture reviews and technical workshops with engineering, product, security, compliance, operations, and partner teams.
- Establish reference architectures, reusable libraries, golden paths, API standards, service contracts, integration patterns, and cloud infrastructure patterns.
- Design secure, scalable, highly available, resilient internet-scale systems for fleet management and mobility payments.
- Drive security-by-design, compliance-by-design, threat modeling, API security, authorization, PCI DSS considerations, data protection, and auditability.
- Define observability, SLI/SLO, operational-readiness, incident-management, chaos-testing, and resilience-improvement practices.
- Create reusable CI/CD and infrastructure-as-code patterns using Helm, Argo workflows, Terraform, and secure cloud-resource templates.
- Set expectations for code quality, testing strategy, maintainability, and production behavior across teams.
- Code selectively in foundational or technically challenging components and validate architecture through prototypes and technical spikes.
- Debug complex cross-service issues, lead technical resolution during major incidents, and drive corrective actions and reliability improvements.
- Build self-service tools, dashboards, and automation for engineers, support teams, and operational partners.
- Shape cross-team roadmaps, identify dependencies and architectural risks, and reduce technical debt.
- Mentor senior engineers, support engineer growth and visibility, and promote thoughtful technical decision-making.
- Evaluate emerging technologies and guide safe adoption paths, including responsible AI solutions and multi-agent workflows.
- Maintain architecture decisions, design documents, runbooks, corrective-action documents, change-management plans, and operational-readiness plans.
