Responsibilities
- Operate, develop, and optimize global non-SAP cloud infrastructures to maintain high availability and reliable services.
- Automate standardized infrastructure provisioning and support the implementation of new services on KION Group digital platforms.
- Monitor and analyze incidents involving IT services, servers, containers, and networks; resolve issues sustainably and document solutions.
- Operate global monitoring for infrastructure and network components and administer Linux and Windows servers.
- Deploy operational agents and security updates and support Docker and Kubernetes containerization.
- Further develop CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions and Azure DevOps.
- Participate in cloud landscape optimization projects and collaborate with internal departments, development teams, and external partners.
Requirements
- Completed computer science degree or comparable vocational training, such as IT specialist for system integration.
- Professional experience operating and developing cloud infrastructures in public and private cloud environments.
- Solid foundational knowledge of Azure and Linux or Windows administration.
- Basic knowledge of cloud networking and security concepts, including IAM, firewalls, encryption, and compliance.
- Programming or scripting knowledge using tools such as Python, Bash, PowerShell, or CLI.
- Very good written and spoken German and English.
- Knowledge of monitoring and logging, analytical thinking, communication skills, teamwork, proactive working style, and willingness to learn.
- Willingness to participate in on-call duty.
- Experience with Infrastructure as Code, such as Terraform or Ansible, and container technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes is preferred.
