Base Salary

Responsibilities
- Drive enterprise architecture and technical strategy for microservices-based and AI platform engineering.
- Design and develop scalable microservices, APIs, domain-driven services, and event-driven systems.
- Lead AI/ML integrations involving LLMs, Retrieval-Augmented Generation, and agentic frameworks.
- Develop data platforms and pipelines supporting real-time and batch processing.
- Build intelligent search, recommendation, personalization, and decision-support capabilities.
- Develop and optimize search algorithms and systems using ElasticSearch, OpenSearch, Solr, or Lucene.
- Drive CI/CD, DevOps, automated testing, containerization, observability, reliability, and production support practices.
- Lead design reviews, define microservices and API best practices, govern services, and mentor engineers.
- Drive responsible AI practices including model evaluation, governance, and production readiness.
- Collaborate with product managers, architects, and business stakeholders to deliver modular and intelligent solutions.
Requirements
- 7+ years of software engineering experience across design, development, testing, and deployment.
- 5+ years building enterprise-scale cloud-native applications on GCP, Azure, or AWS.
- 5+ years programming in Java, Python, Kotlin, or Go, with emphasis on backend and API-driven development.
- 3+ years designing and developing microservices architectures, including service decomposition, API design, and event-driven patterns.
- 2+ years integrating AI/ML solutions, including LLMs, RAG architectures, or AI-enabled applications.
- 2+ years designing and implementing distributed systems and microservices at scale, including resiliency, scalability, and fault tolerance.
- Experience with a search technology such as ElasticSearch, OpenSearch, Solr, or Lucene.
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines, DevOps practices, containerization, and orchestration using Docker and Kubernetes.
- Strong understanding of observability, logging, monitoring, and production support.
- Preferred: experience with personalization, recommendations, analytics platforms, machine learning, statistical analysis, predictive modeling, mathematical methods, and search relevance or ranking.
- Preferred: ability to communicate complex technical concepts and business implications to diverse stakeholders.
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience; a high school diploma plus 4 years of relevant experience is also accepted.
