Responsibilities

  • Lead frontend architecture and development using React for enterprise applications.
  • Develop responsive, high-performance user interfaces and reusable frontend components and libraries.
  • Translate UX designs and wireframes into production-ready code.
  • Integrate RESTful APIs and optimize applications across browsers and web-capable devices.
  • Lead technical workstreams, implementation strategy, and end-to-end software delivery through deployment and production support.
  • Collaborate with product, UX, backend, QA, and platform teams to refine requirements and execution plans.
  • Mentor engineering team members and guide design and delivery decisions.
  • Ensure best practices in code quality, testing, security, observability, Agile delivery, and DevOps practices.
  • Troubleshoot production issues and perform root-cause analysis and resolution.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience.
  • 10+ years of software engineering experience with a senior engineering background and technical leadership experience.
  • Strong proficiency in JavaScript, including DOM manipulation and the JavaScript object model.
  • Deep expertise in React.js and experience building Single Page Applications.
  • Experience with React workflows such as Redux and Flux.
  • Strong understanding of modern frontend architecture patterns and RESTful API integration.
  • Familiarity with authorization mechanisms including JSON Web Tokens.
  • Experience with Babel, Webpack, NPM, Vite, and Git.
  • Experience with AWS, Azure, or a similar cloud platform, plus Kubernetes experience.
  • Proven Agile delivery experience and end-to-end software delivery expertise.
  • Preferred: familiarity with ECMAScript standards, Immutable.js, isomorphic or universal React, backend Java, and performance benchmarking and optimization.
  • Strong problem-solving, communication, analytical, ownership, and accountability skills.
