Responsibilities
- Lead discovery sessions and workshops involving customers, creative teams, content teams, and development teams.
- Define scope, timelines, technical solutions, governance strategies, dependencies, and delivery plans.
- Gather business requirements and translate them into technical requirements and solutions.
- Design, build, and maintain reusable JavaScript, HTML, and CSS code for customer web platforms.
- Lead story and task grooming, solutioning, effort estimation, and project retrospectives.
- Review pull requests, manage development quality, promote best practices, and mentor developers.
- Support client content teams with CMS platform usage, guidance, and adoption.
- Manage customer demos and communication, including expectations, feedback, and dependencies.
- Collaborate with sales on go-to-market service offerings and presales inquiries.
- Coordinate customer feedback with product teams and research frontend and design technology trends.
Requirements
- 10+ years of professional experience.
- Experience with a CMS, including template editing and content-authoring roles.
- Expertise in responsive design, mobile application design, frontend development, and JAMstack.
- In-depth knowledge of HTML5 and CSS3; Less and Sass are a plus.
- Strong proficiency in JavaScript, including DOM manipulation and the JavaScript object model; ES6 knowledge is a plus.
- Expertise in design systems, style guides, and pattern libraries.
- Familiarity with RESTful APIs, GraphQL APIs, micro frontend concepts, and headless implementation.
- Understanding of WCAG accessibility guidelines, content authoring usability, information architecture, and content structuring.
- Familiarity with Adobe XD, Sketch, Figma, modern frontend build pipelines, code versioning tools, and Git.
- Experience with Babel, Webpack, NPM, and other common frontend development tools.
- Ability to translate business requirements into technical requirements and optimize web performance and core web vitals.
- Customer-centric consulting approach with strong communication, collaboration, coaching, and team leadership skills.
