Lead Infrastructure Engineer – Retail Branch Change Execution

Responsibilities
- Ensure reliable and secure patching and software deployment across approximately 70,000 retail-branch devices.
- Lead infrastructure engineering workstreams and projects focused primarily on enterprise software deployment.
- Architect, implement, troubleshoot, and modernize cross-platform infrastructure changes.
- Develop scripting and automation solutions using Python, PowerShell, .NET, GitHub, and AI-assisted tools.
- Validate AI-assisted recommendations and ensure changes meet resiliency, security, traceability, and auditability requirements.
- Operate across public and private cloud environments and assess upstream and downstream technical impacts.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams and mentor junior engineers.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in infrastructure engineering, software deployment, or related fields.
- Deep knowledge of at least three infrastructure engineering areas, such as deployment, automation, networking, databases, integration, scaling, resilience, or performance assessment.
- Experience with infrastructure technologies and scripting or programming languages such as Python, PowerShell, and .NET.
- Experience using AI and agentic AI to automate enterprise software delivery solutions.
- Ability to review and validate AI-assisted recommendations before implementation.
- Strong understanding of cloud infrastructure and the ability to operate in and migrate across public and private clouds.
- Strong problem-solving, communication, collaboration, and cross-functional technical skills.
- Preferred qualifications include large-scale enterprise software deployment experience; ServiceNow, Jira, Dynatrace, or Splunk experience; security best-practice familiarity; AI/agentic AI automation leadership; and advanced certifications in infrastructure engineering, cloud technologies, AI, SRE, or software deployment tools.
