Base Salary

$214k - $231k/yr

Responsibilities

  • Lead GenAI education, enablement, adoption, and strategy across software development teams.
  • Evolve software development practices, standards, governance, workflows, and delivery models for AI-assisted engineering.
  • Define future operating models for code review, team composition, developer responsibilities, productivity, and product-team interactions.
  • Drive cultural and organizational change in partnership with technology leaders and engineering managers.
  • Align AI-assisted software development controls with risk, compliance, security, governance, and regulatory expectations.
  • Represent application development needs to engineering and architecture teams and coordinate initiatives across development organizations.
  • Monitor industry developments in GenAI software engineering, particularly in banking and financial services, and translate them into actionable recommendations.

Requirements

  • 10+ years of experience as a full-stack application architect, designer, and developer using modern languages, frameworks, and software engineering tools.
  • Expertise in modern software architecture, application design, engineering practices, and enterprise software delivery.
  • Deep fluency with current GenAI coding tools, models, and development platforms and their enterprise applications.
  • Experience delivering or guiding enterprise-grade software systems using GenAI-assisted development approaches.
  • Experience leading large-scale technical transformation and cultural change in complex enterprise environments, preferably banking.
  • Strong understanding of software development governance, risk management, security controls, and compliance in regulated environments.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication, executive presence, stakeholder management, and ability to influence across matrixed organizations.
  • Preferred qualifications include financial-services experience, engineering standards or developer-platform leadership, secure software development and model-governance familiarity, global organizational experience, and the ability to balance innovation, speed, quality, and control.
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a closely related discipline, or an equivalent combination of formal education and experience.
