Base Salary
$207k - $300k/yr
Responsibilities
- Provide technical leadership and advise Android, Pixel, and Silicon leadership on graphics hardware and software performance and feature opportunities.
- Influence, coach, and lead a distributed team of engineers.
- Facilitate alignment across teams on goals, outcomes, and timelines.
- Develop GPU graphics and compute technologies across the full GPU software and hardware stack.
- Evaluate and bring up devices and collaborate with product and engineering teams to define GPU requirements for future products.
- Develop and maintain kernel and user-space graphics drivers, including new features, performance improvements, and debugging testing problems.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience.
- 8 years of experience in low-level systems programming languages such as C++ or C.
- 5 years of experience developing and maintaining device drivers that interface software with hardware.
- 3 years of experience with software design, architecture, and technical leadership.
- Experience with GPUs and mobile GPUs.
- Preferred: master’s degree or PhD in Computer Science or a related technical field.
- Preferred: experience writing or contributing to graphics drivers and optimizing GPU-accelerated applications.
- Preferred: proficiency in C++, GPU programming, familiarity with Rust, and knowledge of mobile GPU architectures and mobile-specific graphics optimization.

- US base pay of $207000 - $300000 USD, plus a 20% bonus target, equity, and benefits.
