Responsibilities
- Contribute to software solutions and on-orbit capabilities deployed to customers.
- Develop code and architecture for orbital software, mission systems, and interfaces with multi-domain systems.
- Integrate legacy systems and support interfaces to multimodal payloads, spacecraft bus platforms, and networking solutions.
- Collaborate across teams to plan, build, and test complex functionality.
- Create and analyze metrics for debugging and monitoring, triage issues, identify root causes, and coordinate corrective actions.
- Partner with end users to translate mission needs into features while balancing user experience and engineering constraints.
Requirements
- Recently completed a bachelor's and/or master's degree in computer science, computer/software engineering, mathematics, physics, or a related field.
- Able to start full time in 2026.
- Familiarity with algorithms, data structures, storage systems, cloud infrastructure, front-end frameworks, and other technical tools.
- Proficiency in programming languages such as C++, Go, Rust, and Python.
- Eligible to obtain and maintain an active U.S. Secret security clearance.
- Preferred: experience with spacecraft software systems and operations, satellite mission autonomy including fault isolation and recovery, or deployment tooling such as Kubernetes, OpenShift, or Helm.
- Preferred: low-ego, high ownership, mission-oriented approach and a desire to work on critical software in the space domain.
