Responsibilities
- Define, build, and maintain core camera systems for cinematic and gameplay features.
- Develop new camera mechanics and features in Unreal Engine 5.
- Collaborate with gameplay and cinematic designers and animators to fulfill the game vision.
- Build and maintain solid, flexible gameplay systems.
- Write optimized, high-quality, bug-free code aligned with project goals.
- Prototype and deploy core in-game camera systems.
Requirements
- At least 5 years of professional programming experience in the games industry.
- Strong proficiency in C++ and knowledge of Unreal Engine.
- Experience collaborating cross-functionally to prototype and deploy in-game camera systems.
- Knowledge of game-engine architecture and algorithms.
- Strong multithreaded programming skills.
- Ability to think creatively and strategically to overcome technical challenges and drive technological innovation.
- Excellent communication skills across language and time-zone barriers.
- Experience shipping at least one Unreal-based game is preferred but not required.
- Experience developing for recent-generation consoles is preferred but not required.
