Responsibilities
- Interface with technical personnel and stakeholders to finalize requirements and translate them into software designs.
- Write and review detailed specifications for complex system components.
- Develop, debug, review, and maintain complex software and data solutions.
- Design and work with complex data models and data manipulation techniques.
- Apply development processes, coding best practices, code reviews, and optimization techniques.
- Resolve complex technical issues and collaborate with development team members on product requirements.
- Train entry-level software engineers and mentor less-senior developers on methodologies and optimization.
- Work across development environments including Agile and Waterfall.
Requirements
- Expertise in Snowflake, PySpark, Python, and SQL.
- Hands-on experience with GitHub, Jetstream, and AWS.
- Knowledge of AI development tools, SDD (Spec Driven Development), and AWS AI-DLC is preferred.
- Experience with databases, data warehousing, ETL processes, and normalized or dimensional data modeling.
- Experience with machine learning models or statistical analysis.
- Advanced knowledge of software development methodologies and strong data manipulation and optimization skills.
- Strong critical-thinking, problem-solving, research, collaboration, and technical communication skills.
