Responsibilities
- Finalize requirements with technical personnel and team members.
- Write and review detailed specifications for complex system components.
- Design, develop, debug, and deliver scalable software and data solutions.
- Implement development processes, coding best practices, and code reviews.
- Resolve complex technical issues and bugs.
- Design and work with complex data models.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to translate business requirements into technical outcomes.
- Train and mentor entry-level and less-senior software engineers on development methodologies and optimization techniques.
Requirements
- Expertise in Snowflake, PySpark, Python, and SQL.
- Hands-on experience with GitHub, Jetstream, and AWS.
- Knowledge of AI development tools; knowledge of SDD and AWS AI-DLC is preferred.
- Familiarity with databases, data warehousing, ETL processes, and machine learning models or statistical analysis.
- Advanced knowledge of software development methodologies, including Agile and Waterfall.
- Strong proficiency in data manipulation language, optimization techniques, and normalized and dimensional data modeling principles.
- Strong critical-thinking, problem-solving, research, collaboration, and communication skills.
