Base Salary
$134k - $200k/yr
Responsibilities
- Extend, govern, measure, and operate AI-powered workflows across People, Legal, Finance, Workplace, and other departments.
- Define publishing processes, scoping rules, review cadences, security reviews, spend monitoring, and usage monitoring for internal AI tools.
- Own the MCP and connector roadmap, harden pilot integrations into production, and scale integrations across enterprise systems.
- Evaluate emerging MCP servers, agent frameworks, and agentic platform capabilities and make adoption recommendations.
- Create a documented AI vendor intake process, reusable risk framework, and sign-off path with Privacy, Security, and Legal.
- Build integration prototypes, working examples, and reference architectures that internal teams can extend independently.
- Partner directly with G&A teams to design and implement workflows involving Finance, People, Legal, Privacy, and other business functions.
Requirements
- At least five years of software or integration engineering experience, including at least two years building integrations between SaaS systems.
- Hands-on experience with API integration patterns, OAuth and identity, webhook architectures, and reliable enterprise-system integrations.
- Practical experience shipping LLM-based applications or AI tooling involving prompt design, agent workflows, retrieval, evaluation, or production model API integrations.
- Working knowledge of the Model Context Protocol or comparable agent-tool integration patterns.
- Strong communication and stakeholder-management skills with non-technical partners across Finance, People, Legal, IT, and Privacy.
- Strong DevOps and operational fundamentals, including CI/CD, infrastructure-as-code, secrets management, and observability.
- Experience applying data governance and security best practices.
- Experience evaluating third-party vendors, DPAs, subprocessor chains, data flows, and business go/no-go recommendations.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, high-growth, global environment with significant ambiguity.
- Bonus: customer-facing engineering experience such as Forward Deployed Engineer, Solutions Engineer, or Applied AI Engineer, combined with internal tooling experience.
- Bonus: familiarity with enterprise iPaaS platforms.
- Bonus: experience in Business Technology, IT, or internal platform organizations at high-growth B2B SaaS companies.
- Bonus: hands-on experience with NetSuite, Workday, Ironclad, Zendesk, Salesforce, or their APIs and extensions.
