Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and test software features for infotainment, mobile, or connectivity applications.
- Develop Android Automotive applications, Android platform or system-level software, wireless and telematics integrations, 3D graphics features, or automated integration tests depending on team placement.
- Write code in Kotlin, Java, C++, or Python.
- Collaborate with product and design partners to understand feature requirements.
- Debug and resolve issues found during development or testing.
- Present work and progress to the team throughout the internship.
Requirements
- Currently enrolled in a Bachelor's or Master's program at an accredited Canadian university.
- Proficiency in Kotlin, Java, C++, or Python.
- Actively pursuing Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a closely related degree and intending to return to school after the internship.
- Experience developing Android applications or familiarity with the Android Automotive OS framework is preferred.
- Coursework or project experience with LTE, Wi-Fi, or BLE is preferred.
- Exposure to Unreal Engine, OpenGL, or Vulkan is preferred.
- Familiarity with test automation frameworks is preferred.
