Responsibilities

  • Maintain and develop software applications and reliable, secure healthcare services.
  • Design, develop, test, and release software changes and enhancements.
  • Code, debug, troubleshoot, and maintain applications and APIs throughout the development process.
  • Develop and modify SQL Server stored procedures.
  • Collaborate with QA on test automation and work with managers and team members to complete assigned tasks.
  • Apply applicable privacy and security laws, including HIPAA and HITECH.
  • Participate in Agile development activities and complete daily scrum tasks.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or an equivalent degree, or equivalent work experience.
  • 2 to 4 years of experience developing software using Microsoft’s platform.
  • Strong understanding of SOLID and object-oriented programming principles.
  • Extensive experience with C#, ASP.NET/MVC, Web APIs, and WCF.
  • Experience with SQL Server development and stored procedures.
  • Experience maintaining RESTful APIs and debugging across the technology stack.
  • Understanding of the software development lifecycle and exposure to Agile development methodology.
  • Familiarity with Azure or AWS cloud environments, Joget, VB6, and classic ASP.
  • Strong collaboration, communication, analytical problem-solving, and systems-thinking skills.
