Base Salary

$130k - $230k/yr

Responsibilities

  • Talk with customers, study their workflows, and identify problems worth solving.
  • Define product specifications, design interfaces, make tradeoffs, and keep scope focused for rapid delivery.
  • Build and ship production features using TypeScript and React.
  • Monitor customer usage, investigate failures, and improve the product experience after launch.
  • Maintain shipped systems by fixing bugs, handling edge cases, and improving code understandability.
  • Collaborate with the team on shared infrastructure, AI behavior, and customer workflows.

Requirements

  • Personally take a product or substantial feature from idea through production and explain the customer problem, decisions, and post-launch results.
  • Ship TypeScript and React in an existing codebase with limited direction and debug code when AI tooling produces errors.
  • Demonstrate strong product and design judgment, including attention to interface function and appearance.
  • Have experience with outbound sales, including researching prospects, sending campaigns, handling replies, and selling a product.
  • Show initiative, defend product decisions, respond to criticism, and change direction based on evidence.
  • Take responsibility for quality, maintenance, speed, and customer outcomes.
  • Experience as a founder, sales engineer, or someone who moved from sales into software development may be useful.
  • Experience with sales, CRM, or outbound products with real users, or a public portfolio such as shipped products, a GitHub repository, or a technical write-up, is valuable.
