Responsibilities
- Design, build, and maintain multi-cloud automation for governance, security, compliance, and cost efficiency.
- Investigate and remediate inconsistent or non-compliant configurations across AWS, Azure, and GCP.
- Develop monitoring, health checks, auditing mechanisms, operational controls, CI/CD pipelines, and cloud delivery workflows.
- Drive vulnerability management, patch compliance, governance enforcement, troubleshooting, root cause analysis, and long-term issue resolution.
- Maintain runbooks, rollback procedures, dependency maps, incident response documentation, technical documentation, and implementation guidance.
- Collaborate with engineering, architecture, and product teams to improve platform reliability and operational maturity.
- Communicate technical risks, compliance topics, and operational recommendations to technical and business stakeholders.
Requirements
- At least four years of hands-on cloud engineering experience with strong AWS or Azure expertise.
- Working knowledge of AWS, Azure, and/or GCP services and architectures.
- Strong Python programming skills for automation, API integrations, cloud tooling, and operational engineering.
- Experience with Terraform, cloud-native Infrastructure as Code, containerization, and Kubernetes.
- Understanding of DevOps principles, CI/CD practices, secure software delivery, cloud networking, identity and access management, compute, storage, monitoring, and automation services.
- Experience applying Well-Architected Framework principles and working in agile delivery environments.
- Experience with AI-assisted and specification-driven development, ideally using OpenSpec or a comparable framework.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or equivalent practical experience.
- Preferred qualifications include compliance, governance, auditing, regulatory, observability, incident management, shared cloud platform, AWS or Azure certification, and large-scale cloud automation experience.
- Fluent English communication skills and experience working in distributed, cross-functional, and intercultural teams.
