Responsibilities
- Design and implement a powerful, easy-to-use data integration system.
- Develop AI-powered data analysis features, including natural-language querying and automated insights generation.
- Build LLM agents for data exploration, query formulation, and report generation.
- Integrate LLM capabilities for conversational analytics and intelligent data insights.
- Design layered, componentized application systems covering business functionality and database access.
- Collaborate with engineering, management, product, QA, and operations teams on scalable and reliable solutions.
- Estimate engineering effort, plan implementations, and manage system-change rollouts.
- Independently design, code, and test major features while collaborating on complex changes.
- Identify technical improvement opportunities and develop business cases for enhancements.
- Research, design, and develop computer and network software and specialized utility programs.
- Analyze user needs and develop software using computer science, engineering, and mathematical principles.
- Update software, improve existing capabilities, and direct software testing and validation procedures.
- Integrate hardware and software systems with computer hardware engineers and develop specifications and performance requirements.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in computer science or a related discipline.
- At least 2 years of software engineering experience.
- At least 2 years of object-oriented design experience and strong software development skills in Java.
- At least 2 years of experience in requirements analysis, design, coding, and unit testing of scalable, distributed, fault-tolerant applications.
- Preferred: experience integrating AI/ML into data analytics platforms.
- Preferred: hands-on experience with open-source LLM frameworks such as LangChain or LangGraph.
- Preferred: experience integrating LLMs with data visualization and analytics platforms.
- Preferred: knowledge of Retrieval-Augmented Generation patterns for real-time data responses.
- Preferred: experience fine-tuning or deploying open-source LLMs.
- Preferred: experience with large-scale data-driven systems, distributed systems, or OLAP databases.
- Preferred: strong communication skills for working with global teams.
