Responsibilities
- Partner with Product and Design to define roadmap and success metrics.
- Work closely with product managers to prioritize projects and ship incrementally.
- Drive strong delivery practices including planning and continuous improvement.
- Own the technical strategy and architecture for services and APIs.
- Serve as the accountable owner for architecture and system quality.
- Review code and ensure adherence to standards.
- Establish operational excellence for production systems.
- Champion secure coding practices and proactive vulnerability management.
Requirements
- 8+ years of backend engineering experience with a focus on distributed systems.
- Proficiency in modern JVM ecosystems including Java and Kotlin.
- Expert knowledge of design patterns and microservices architecture.
- Hands-on experience with cloud services like GCP/AWS and observability tools.
- Experience in developing large-scale API and integration-heavy systems.
