Responsibilities
- Develop, modify, implement, document, install, and support software applications.
- Analyze business needs, requirements, system flows, data usage, and work processes to determine and design solutions.
- Define application interfaces, responsibilities, architectures, solution interactions, deployment requirements, and nonfunctional requirements.
- Participate in software testing, including test review, analysis, witnessing, certification, and automated testing.
- Improve applications through systems analysis and recommendations while protecting confidential information and IT assets.
- Apply programming, data, security, privacy, compliance, Agile/DevSecOps, CI/CD, and infrastructure-as-code practices across the software lifecycle.
Requirements
- A college, university, or equivalent degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related subject, or relevant equivalent experience, is required.
- Experience as a software engineer through temporary student employment, an internship, co-op, or extracurricular team activities is preferred.
- Experience working in an Agile environment and knowledge of fundamental IT technical skills are preferred.
- Ability to take a solution from scoping requirements through launch is preferred.
- The position may require licensing for compliance with export controls or sanctions regulations.
