Responsibilities
- Develop, test, debug, and maintain software features under the guidance of senior engineers.
- Contribute to backend services, APIs, tools, integrations, platform components, and user-facing functionality.
- Participate in code reviews, sprint planning, team discussions, troubleshooting, bug fixes, and technical investigations.
- Write maintainable code following team standards for quality, security, testing, and documentation.
- Assist with automated tests and product improvements.
- Collaborate with engineering, QA, product, UX/UI, and operations teams to deliver features.
- Apply software development practices including automated testing, CI/CD, and DevOps fundamentals.
- Communicate progress, questions, and blockers to team members and managers.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or equivalent practical experience.
- At least 1 year of software engineering experience, internship experience, or relevant project experience.
- Foundational programming experience with Java, C#, .NET, or similar technologies.
- Basic understanding of databases, APIs, software design principles, debugging, and automated testing.
- Preferred exposure to SaaS applications, cloud-hosted systems, enterprise software platforms, or cybersecurity solutions.
- Preferred familiarity with MySQL, SQL, AWS, REST APIs, CI/CD tools, and source control.
- Experience with production software, academic projects, internships, open-source projects, or technical team projects is preferred.
