Responsibilities
- Translate ambiguous business problems and stakeholder requirements into clear technical solution designs.
- Make build-versus-configure decisions for custom agents and enterprise agent-builder platforms.
- Design integrations with APIs, scheduled jobs, data platforms, and chat surfaces, including migrations from legacy RPA approaches.
- Design access-control and data-permission models for mobile, web, and API consumers.
- Prototype and validate solutions against real data and users before production development.
- Build Python backend integrations, automation, and API endpoints for frontend teams.
- Integrate LLM observability and evaluation tooling to monitor groundedness, quality, and cost.
- Document solutions, present them to architecture and compliance review boards, and support live systems through ongoing iteration.
Requirements
- 2–4 years of experience building applied AI or software solutions in a hands-on engineering role.
- Strong Python skills and experience designing and consuming REST and Graph APIs.
- Experience translating business requirements into technical solution designs.
- Working knowledge of LLM or agent frameworks and observability tooling such as LangSmith or LangGraph.
- Familiarity with AWS or equivalent cloud infrastructure and data platforms with access-control models such as Databricks and Unity Catalog.
- Ability to present solution designs and trade-offs to non-technical stakeholders.
- Experience with enterprise agent-builder or search platforms such as Glean is preferred.
- Experience with LLM evaluation methodologies, Slack API or other chat-platform integrations, rapid prototyping, or forward-deployed engineering is preferred.
