Responsibilities
- Design and operate adaptive, self-correcting, multi-hop Agentic RAG and retrieval pipelines.
- Develop context management, long-term memory, subagent, multi-agent, self-evolving agent, and real-world task execution capabilities.
- Build agent harness systems with runtime recovery, sandbox isolation, middleware and hooks, multi-tenant support, plan/execute loops, and retrieval-grounded tool calling.
- Create benchmark datasets, annotation strategies, and evaluation methodologies for agent and RAG performance.
- Use user feedback and real-world task data to run experiments and improve production agent and retrieval performance.
Requirements
- 2–8+ years of hands-on production experience with LLM, RAG, and AI agent systems.
- Experience building production retrieval pipelines with embedding models, vector stores, hybrid search, reranking, chunking, text cleaning, and multimodal data parsing.
- Experience implementing Agentic RAG patterns including Self-RAG, Corrective RAG, adaptive retrieval, multi-hop decomposition, and retrieve-reflect-refine loops.
- Experience with agent harness runtimes such as Pi Agent, AgentScope 2.0, or equivalent orchestration frameworks.
- Deep familiarity with LLM APIs, KV Cache, agent loops, tool use, reasoning, planning, skills, MCP, memory, subagents, and multi-agent systems.
- Strong knowledge of prompt engineering and context engineering.
- Ability to conduct independent research, generate original ideas, and rapidly turn concepts into runnable prototypes.
- Power-user experience with coding agents and general-purpose agent products.
- Proficiency with AI-assisted development and the ability to work across unfamiliar languages, frameworks, and domains.
