
Senior Platform Security Engineer (100% Remote within Poland)

Responsibilities
- Secure and maintain the underlying platform infrastructure and integrate security across the platform lifecycle.
- Develop and maintain vulnerability-management and continuous-compliance tools for Global Security.
- Develop, monitor, and maintain Kubernetes clusters across several continents.
- Maintain CI/CD capabilities and ensure services are deployed with high availability.
- Audit systems, support secure migrations, resolve platform misconfigurations and vulnerabilities, and advise on encryption and secure integrations.
- Collaborate with Global Security, PMS, Internal Platform, Experience, and Legal teams on compliance, risk management, incidents, and data protection.
- Optimize system scalability, performance, reliability, and cost efficiency.
- Respond to urgent issues and support other team members in their daily work.
Requirements
- At least 5 years of experience related to security.
- Extensive experience with Kubernetes and securing container orchestration platforms.
- Experience maintaining and developing security-focused CNI or service mesh policies, such as Calico or Cilium.
- Experience scanning for and managing vulnerabilities at scale.
- Experience with HashiCorp Vault and Terraform.
- Knowledge of popular CI/CD tools and scalable, secure, highly available production environments using AWS.
- Knowledge of network security services such as AWS WAF or Cloudflare.
- Ability to develop automation tools or scripts in Bash or Go.
- English communication skills at a minimum B2 level, both spoken and written.
- Ability to influence stakeholders regarding security and best practices.
