Responsibilities
- Own the technical vision, engineering standards, and delivery methodology for Google SecOps services and implementations.
- Lead complex SIEM, EDR, threat detection and response, migration, implementation, and managed-services onboarding programs.
- Define reference architectures, onboarding frameworks, engineering accelerators, and reusable deployment patterns.
- Drive Infrastructure-as-Code, CI/CD, automated deployment, and DevOps practices across security engineering teams.
- Review and approve technical designs, implementation approaches, and engineering deliverables.
- Mentor, coach, and develop security engineers through technical leadership and knowledge sharing.
- Serve as the primary technical escalation point for Google SecOps challenges and strategic client engagements.
- Support recruitment, capability development, service growth, vendor collaboration, and future offering development.
Requirements
- 6+ years of experience delivering cybersecurity engineering, implementation, or consulting projects.
- Educational background in Information Technology, Cybersecurity, or a related technical field.
- Proven experience leading complex SIEM implementation, migration, or security transformation programs.
- Hands-on experience with Google SecOps and practical knowledge of Microsoft Sentinel, Splunk, QRadar, or Elastic.
- Experience designing enterprise-scale security monitoring architectures and operating models.
- Experience with Infrastructure-as-Code and DevOps tooling such as Terraform, GitHub, GitHub Actions, or Azure DevOps.
- Experience building reusable engineering frameworks, CI/CD pipelines, and automated deployment processes.
- Experience leading engineering teams, technical workstreams, or communities of practice.
- Strong communication, stakeholder management, and presentation skills.
- English language proficiency at C1 level or higher.
- Preferred qualifications include Google Cloud, Google SecOps, or recognized cybersecurity certifications; experience scaling a Google SecOps practice, working with strategic technology partners, supporting presales and proposals, defining governance and quality processes, or mentoring multiple engineers.
