Responsibilities
- Build, maintain, deliver, observe, and support production backend services for money movement.
- Own well-defined tasks and features while contributing to larger projects and technical design.
- Improve reliability and quality through testing, monitoring, code reviews, and established delivery pipelines.
- Participate in on-call rotations, incident response, and post-incident reviews.
- Apply backend and systems thinking to identify risks, dependencies, and edge cases.
- Collaborate with Product, QA, and engineering teams to deliver transfer and banking capabilities.
Requirements
- Experience building and supporting backend services in production.
- Proficiency in Golang and willingness to learn and use other languages as needed.
- Comfort with cloud-based systems, containerized workloads, and automated delivery pipelines.
- Ability to write well-scoped pull requests, conduct code reviews, and maintain code quality and test coverage.
- Understanding of system architecture, data modelling, and API design.
- Clear communication and effective collaboration with engineers, product managers, and stakeholders.
- Experience with banking, payments, regulated financial systems, production traffic, incident response, or AI-assisted development tools is a plus.
