Responsibilities
- Review system specifications and user stories to understand software requirements.
- Design comprehensive test documentation and robust test cases.
- Prepare software and hardware testing environments.
- Conduct manual functional, integration, regression, and user acceptance testing.
- Identify, log, track, and re-test software defects.
- Validate test results against acceptance criteria and user expectations.
- Communicate test progress, results, usability feedback, performance observations, and quality issues.
- Assess and improve testing processes and adapt workflows to project timelines and changing requirements.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience as a Manual QA Engineer.
- Solid knowledge of the software development life cycle and testing methodologies.
- Experience with bug tracking and test management systems.
- Strong understanding of functional, integration, regression, and user acceptance testing.
- Knowledge of test management tools such as TestRail, Zephyr, or similar.
- Basic understanding of scripting or programming languages.
- Basic experience with Unix platforms.
- Strong collaboration, troubleshooting, prioritization, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Upper-Intermediate English is a plus.
