Base Salary
$94k - $141k/yr
Responsibilities
- Gather requirements and design and develop software features for Windows-on-Snapdragon products.
- Contribute to the end-to-end lifecycle of Windows-on-Snapdragon product lines.
- Bring up, support, triage, debug, and unblock issues on Qualcomm chipsets.
- Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders and drive tasks toward completion.
- Participate as a key member of an Agile Scrum team.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or a related field.
- Embedded Windows software and strong programming skills.
- Windows and/or Linux kernel development experience.
- Strong understanding of operating-system concepts.
- Proficiency in C/C++, shell scripting, or Python.
- Hands-on experience debugging ARM or other SoC embedded systems.
- Strong problem-solving, debugging, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Preferred: device-driver programming and debugging with WinDbg, JTAG, or other tools.
- Preferred: knowledge of processor architecture, cache subsystems, ARM assembly, embedded operating-system architecture, memory, multicore and multithreading concepts, crash debugging, and system performance profiling and optimization.
- Preferred: advanced understanding of object-oriented programming principles and the ability to learn quickly.
