Base Salary
$94k - $141k/yr
Responsibilities
- Gather requirements and design and develop software features for Windows-on-Snapdragon products.
- Participate in the end-to-end lifecycle of Windows-on-Snapdragon product lines.
- Bring up, support, triage, and unblock issues involving Qualcomm chipsets.
- Develop and debug embedded Windows software, device drivers, and ARM or other SoC systems.
- Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders and drive tasks through completion.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering, information systems, computer science, or a related field.
- Embedded Windows software experience and strong programming skills.
- Understanding of operating-system concepts and Windows and/or Linux kernel development.
- Strong C/C++, shell scripting, or Python skills and hands-on experience debugging ARM or other SoC embedded systems.
- Preferred: master’s degree in electrical engineering, computer science, or a related field.
- Preferred: device-driver programming and debugging with WinDbg, JTAG, or other tools.
- Preferred: knowledge of processor architecture, cache subsystems, ARM assembly, embedded operating systems, and OS or system performance profiling and optimization.
- Preferred: advanced understanding of object-oriented programming principles and strong communication, problem-solving, and debugging skills.
