Responsibilities
- Develop, maintain, deploy, operate, and support PACER applications and internal Judiciary systems across the software development lifecycle.
- Build secure enterprise software and web services using C, Java, JSF, PrimeFaces, JavaScript, CSS, Linux shell, SOAP, REST, WSDL, XML, XSD, and JSON.
- Design, implement, and manage automated DevSecOps and CI/CD pipelines for a wide variety of applications.
- Monitor PCI and other security standards, implement secure engineering practices, remediate vulnerabilities, and support ATO, PCI, and FISMA compliance activities.
- Define and maintain system and software architectures, integration standards, technical documentation, use cases, test cases, and validation results.
- Develop, test, and maintain containerized applications and support source control, build, release, and change-control processes.
- Conduct performance analysis, capacity planning, system tuning, continuity-of-operations design, and disaster-recovery testing.
- Review requirements and project documentation, perform impact and feasibility analyses, evaluate emerging technologies, and provide technical training and knowledge transfer.
- Collaborate with customer stakeholders and engineering teams in an Agile environment.
Requirements
- At least 5 years of experience in IT system engineering, systems development, systems coding, or programming.
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, software engineering, or a related field.
- Comprehensive knowledge of security compliance and security controls, with the ability to adapt to enterprise security requirements.
- Proficiency in C, Java, JSF, Tomcat, PrimeFaces, JavaScript, CSS, and Linux shell, with strong Red Hat Linux experience.
- Strong experience implementing and supporting end-to-end automated DevSecOps pipelines and processes, including Jenkins, GitLab, or similar tools.
- Strong understanding of cloud APIs and cloud technologies with programming experience.
- Experience developing and managing CI/CD pipelines as a platform team developer and working with containerized applications.
- Experience with Jira, Confluence, GitLab CI/CD, GitHub Actions, Jenkins, Bash, Subversion, and JetBrains Tool Suite.
- Strong knowledge of source control, build and release tools, software build processes, and CI/CD pipelines.
- Strong security-first mindset, analytical and problem-solving skills, communication skills, and ability to work independently and collaboratively.
- Preferred experience with Perl.
- Ability to present effectively, work with senior customer stakeholders, build customer relationships, and communicate recommendations.
