Responsibilities
- Lead technical design, architecture contributions, and hands-on implementation for ophthalmic system components.
- Coordinate a small team of developers and testers and guide them on quality and best practices.
- Analyse, design, develop, enhance, and support ophthalmic workflows, business rules, and system integrations.
- Collaborate with product owners, architects, and stakeholders to refine requirements and make technical decisions.
- Maintain code quality, performance, and maintainability through reviews, refactoring, and standards enforcement.
- Support CI/CD processes using Jenkins and Git.
- Provide technical troubleshooting, root cause analysis, and production support.
Requirements
- Expert-level Java experience is required.
- Experience with Spring Framework, Hibernate, JBoss Drools, Jenkins, and Git is required.
- AngularJS or a similar frontend framework and Oracle PL/SQL are desirable.
- Experience guiding small development teams and working independently with minimal supervision is required.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, leadership, and communication skills are required.
- Healthcare, public-sector, or regulated-environment experience is advantageous but not essential.
- Eligibility for SC clearance is essential.
